This little Miffy card came from a fellow postcrosser from UK. She found that I wanted Miffy card and kindly sent me one
Unfortunately, Mr. Postman might have been afraid that I wouldn’t see the stamp so he put it exactly right on my poor Miffy’s head! Well, since I had got a lot of stamped-on-the-front postcards, I didn’t fuss too much about it. But this is too cruel! and little Miffy is crying now
The coincidence of Miffy ’s crying makes me laugh though! ^o^’
I have got more children’s illustration postcards! Two cards at the same time. ^-^ The first one is from Germany with work of Helme Heine an internationally well-known children’s book author and illustrator. The style reminds me of a notebook I bought when I was a kid. It’s very old but still in good condition. It has Thai translation too!
The second card came from The Netherlands. This one features work of Fiep Westendorp, a very famous Dutch Illustrator. Love her style. It’s a pity that her official web site doesn’t have English version yet but you can still enjoy browsing her beautiful art. Here are links I found. Enjoy!
A postcard from Taiwan features a place called Dadaocheng. Love the purple pink color, very romantic matching with beautiful bright green stamps on the back too!
It’s just getting better and better in postcrossing! These two postcards arrived together just yesterday. Both came from Scandinavia and both are my favorite!
The first is from Finland. My first Moomin postcard The picture is not so colorful and you may not recognize it right away but I like the simplicity and muteness of it. Make me want to read the books to know the story!
The second one from Norway. Gorgeous scene of Efjord in Nordland. Have no idea where that is but the sender said that it’s in the northern area of the country. This shot was took in summertime but I bet the water would be freezing even the time. Look at the little red cottage, how cute is that! Wish I could see the real scene!
That’s it and my postcard giveaway is still open if you are interested
This postcard from Russia came in a neat envelop yesterday evening. I have never received a postcard in an envelop before but I’m glad the sender did it because the card is very nice and I can pull the lovely tiny postage stamps off for collecting, which on second thought, I didn’t and just keep the whole envelop as it is.
The image, he said, is of the monument of George Sviridov a famous Russian composer. I like how he sits so comfortably and seems like thinking of something far away, maybe he’s humming his new composition? Beside is the gold muse goddess of literature and arts, acting on his inspirations. I wish I could see the surrounding, I assume it is some kind of public park. It should be beautiful and inspirational to deserve such a great composer, shouldn’t it?
I tried to find a sample of his songs and I think I like this one best.

The latest postcard I received via postcrossing. I’m very excited as this is the first postcard that falls in what I request, something about books especially children’s books illustration. This one is of a children’s book called Ronja the robber’s daughter by Astrid Lindgren a famous Swedish author who wrote Pippi Longstocking I haven’t read either one of them but I have already had Ronja ready on my bookshelf for very long time. Now it’s good time to finally read the book so that I know what this illustration on the card talks about ^-^
Other good thing about postcrossing is that you also have some nice beautiful stamps. I love this ones too, especially the Tiffany lamp. I also love what this Postcrosser from USA wrote, she said;
